As much as I’m a huge fan of Casablanca, I’m a bit ambivalent about the ending between Rick and Ilsa. Fortunately, the film fully redeems itself in the final moments between Humphrey Bogart and Claude Rains.
I’ll write a fair bit about this film in future posts. It’s among my favourites, an entry in my Deserted Island Media log, without doubt, as I never tire of watching it. But this post is about something else.
I just wanted to voice my gratitude for the series of events, the people I met, the decisions I made, the adventures I undertook that all played a role in forming and building the friendship that itself lead to the creation of this blog.
